A hallway that holds its breath does more work than a cutscene ever could. We design for the moments between the moments.

If we can take it out without losing the feeling, it goes. Every system, every line, every prop earns its place or it leaves.

Players are smart

No tutorials, no markers, no nudging. The world explains itself if you look. We trust you to do the looking.

The interesting game is always the one nobody asked for. We make that one. Then we make the next one.

How an idea becomes a room you can walk through.

  1. 00Field RecordingAn image. A sound. A sentence overheard on a bus. The seed is always small and always specific.
  2. 01ArchitectureWe map space before we map story. The level is the first draft of the script.
  3. 02Light & SilenceLighting passes, ambience passes, dead-air passes. The room learns how to be empty.
  4. 03TraceFound notes, environmental beats, the small evidence of someone who was here before you.
  5. 04CutWe remove half. Then we remove half again. What survives is the game.
  6. 05TransmitQuiet release. Word of mouth. The right people find it.
